Very bright, quite beautiful minerality with gentle tannins. In comparison to the 2014 vintage, the 2015 has a little more roundness, depth, and mouthfeel from conventionally fermented sangiovese (20%). The main impression is of flavors and tones from a higher register, common in wines of carbonic maceration.

Carbonic maceration is a style of red winemaking where whole clusters of uncrushed grapes begin to ferment inside their skin, in a closed environment, to produce fresh and bright styles of red wine. This is a delicious lighter red wine that still offers fullness on the palate without weight.
